I was so excited to finally be able to get that preorder in and get the special mounts and pets. The most exciting part of pre-ordering Battle For Azeroth isn’t the pets and mounts though. It’s that you get to play the four new races! I unlocked the Nightborne and High Mountain Tauren right away with a cool little scenario for each. It was nice to be able to see the building tension between the Horde and Alliance, especially in the Nightborne scenario. Here are a few screen grabs of the characters I played around with for allied races.
The void elves are so pretty with very cool animations, it’s something that will make you consider playing alliance.
The light forged Draenei are beautiful as well, but I was so confused that they can’t be Shamans, but I guess with the lore it makes sense.
I’m looking forward to leveling up my Nightborne priest and earning the heritage armor, who knows there may be a race change in my future.
I’m not looking forward to leveling another druid, but they have some really cool new forms.
I was really shocked that the pre-order feels so early, with Blizzard announcing we can look forward to the game dropping this summer! Blizzard is doing great at keeping up with the promise to keep the game relevant and fun. They’re releasing new content frequent enough to keep fans interested, but not so quickly that we’re overwhelmed as WoW consumes our lives. It hard finding that balance between playing all the time or having to go full casual. As a mythic raider, I love this game, but I also love the breaks between raids. I’m so excited to see what is coming and can’t wait to spend more time with my friends in World of Warcraft.
On a side note, it looks like BFA is going to be heavily focusing on PvP and bringing a competitive aspect to the game with guilds working together in this aspect. Drop a comment below and let us know how you feel about the newest expansion of WoW.
